Iqs’s ISIR supports supplier sampling inspections through use of Internet Portals thus optimising supply chain management.  The customer creates the initial sample inspection report on his portal where it can be directly worked on by the supplier.  All suppliers therefore submit their sampling inspections using the same method.  This has the advantage of both standardising and accelerating the initial sampling process.

What sets this software apart is that iqs’s ISIR module stamps corresponding drawings and that these are made available to both customers and suppliers interactively via the web browser.  This new technology is exclusive to iqs’s ISIR.

Furthermore as this portal communication works using only standard web browsers, there is no necessity for additional software to be installed at the supplier’s facility.  This means current documents can be called up and edited on any PC that has Internet access.
